The flags should be created using recycled materials. Criteria for Judging: 1. Creativity (25 points): · Uniqueness and originality in the flag design. · Effective use of recycled materials to create distinctive flag elements. 2. Craftsmanship (25 points): · Neatness and attention to detail in the construction of the flag. · Quality of workmanship, including precision in cutting, glueing, and assembling materials. 3. Use of Recycled Materials (20 points): · Resourcefulness in using recycled materials. · Demonstrated effort in minimizing waste and promoting sustainability. 4. Accuracy (10 points): · Faithfulness to the original flag of the assigned country in terms of colours, symbols, and proportions. 5. Students can visit and learn about various nations. Each house can prepare dishes from a specific country, and students can taste and vote for their favourite international cuisine. Criteria for Judging: • Cultural Representation (30 points): o How accurately and comprehensively does the booth represent the assigned country's culture, traditions, and customs? o The depth and authenticity of cultural exhibits. • Engagement and Interactivity (25 points): o The effectiveness of interactive activities and demonstrations that engage visitors. o The level of student engagement and knowledge when interacting with visitors. 3. Educational Value (20 points): o The quality of informational materials provided, including accuracy and depth of information. o The ability of the booth to educate visitors about the country's history, geography, and cultural significance. 4. Aesthetic Presentation (15 points): o The visual appeal of the booth's setup, including decorations, artifacts, and overall presentation. o Creativity and effort put into the booth's design. 5. Originality and Creativity (10 points): o Innovative and creative approaches to showcasing the assigned country's culture. o Unique elements that make the booth stand out. Each WSC Debate team should consist of 5 members. Quiz Bowl · Quizmaster: a quizmaster, preferably a knowledgeable teacher or faculty member, to serve as the moderator Essay Writing Competition -and Appoint questioner. Multilingual Poetry Slam · - Question Categories: Questions should be divided into categories such as: United Nations and Its Agencies International Affairs and Diplomacy Global Geography and Current Events · - Format: The Quiz Bowl consists of 15 questions with different level of difficulty. Each house writes their answer on the whiteboard and raises it when the time is up. · Questions: - Questions can vary in complexity, with some being multiple-choice, true/false, short answer, or openended. - Questions are read aloud by the quizmaster and displayed on a screen for all participants to see.
