Counter argument Example
A counter argument gives you the chance to respond to your readers’ objections before they have finished
reading. It also shows that you are a reasonable person who has considered both sides of the stimulus.
Steps to follow:
1st = Opposing Viewpoint (Think of what someone would say if they disagreed with your claim.)
2nd = Evidence/Explanation of the opposing opinion (This would be the opposition’s evidence to support their
belief.)
3rd = Rebuttal (This is what you would say in response to the opposition’s opinion. Attack/squash)
4th = Rebuttal evidence/explanation (This is evidence to support your rebuttal.)
5th =Closing (This is your closing remark.)

in sports.
