A. Role Summary

The Employee Relations Analyst is responsible for the implementation of the Company’s bi-annual engagement
survey and distribution of all related reports throughout all divisions of ABC. Also provides support to the
Corporate HRM’s and the ER Department both administratively as well as though proactive problem resolution.
Partners with Retail Operations, HR and Corporate Communications to select appropriate channels and ensure
consistent & timely delivery of HR/ER policy and procedure across the organization.

COMMUNICATION / TREND ANALYSIS: Supports the Corporate Human Resource
Managers/ Employee Relations Advisor with the identification of problems areas and the
implementation of new initiatives. Supports administrative functions within HRM group as
well as ER. Works with ER Advisor on creation, implementation and communication of HR
Policies and Procedures. Conducts year-end analysis of claims for use by the Director, ER
and the VP, Human Resources. Builds trend analysis of vulnerability throughout field (ABC
COMPANY/FS/DC’s).

ASSOCIATE OPINION SURVEY: Coordinates the implementation of bi-annual Associate
Opinion Survey, performs analysis on the results of the Survey and coordinates the
communication of the results to Managers. Maintains the results of the Survey, and other
documentation associated with the Survey for future reference.

DEPARTMENT TRACKING SYSTEM: Develops and maintains progress charts for all
employment standards claims, legal files and other investigations. Works with ER Advisor
on the execution of file management SOP within the Dep’t and across the organization.

INTERNAL INVESTIGATIONS: Assist in monitoring the Direct Access line voice mail box
and forward the issue to the appropriate HR representative. Supports the Corporate Human
Resource Managers/ Employee Relations Advisor in the investigation of employment related
claims and collection of all statements and other relevant documents.
