Meeting Minutes
Date of the Make-up Class: September 21, 2023
Time: 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.
Objectives: To fill in my unplanned absence last September 16, 2023 due to conflict of my
master’s schedule.
Attendees: Jeriel Tero & GE2 – 871 students
Topics Covered during the 2-hour class are as follows:
Agendum: Chapter 3: Communication Aids and Strategies in the Use of Technology
3.1 Audio-visual Aids
3.2 Tips in Preparing a PowerPoint Presentation
3.3 Communication Media in the 21st Century
3.4 Social Media in Contemporary Society
3.5 The Use of Social Media Platforms
3.6 Audi-visual Web-based Presentation: Public Service Announcement (PSA)
Lesson Flow:
1. The class was done through reporting.
2. The assigned group did the comprehensive discussion. The teacher just butted in for clarification
and elaboration.
3. There was a 5-minute break after 1 hour so that the students would have a moment of rest after
being loaded with so much information.
4. The discussion continued until 2:00 p.m.
5. A 5-minute review was done by the assigned reporters before the 25-item quiz commenced.
6. The quiz covered all the topics included in Chapter 3.
7. After the quiz, the teacher announced the third examination output of the students. They were
informed about the task, its guidelines, as well as its rubrics.
8. The class ended at exactly 2:30 p.m. since students were encouraged to attend the Walk for
Peace Culmination at the gymnasium.
