We don’t need to go to the stores. - Secondly, we can have many choices with different items and prices. - Thirdly, there are many discounts on special occasions. MY HOMETOWN + I live in bg and I was born in Bacgiang + Bacgiang is located in the North of Vietnam, about 50 kilometres far from Hanoi. + There are 9 districts and 1 city in Bacgiang. + Bacgiang is famous for Lucngan Litchee, Yenthe chicken, Ke pancake, Chu noodles…and places for tourists such as Bo Da pagoda, Vinh Nghiem pagoda, Cam Son lake. + People in Bac giang are very friendly and hardworking. I’m going to talk about…. 8. A FAMOUS PERSON in Vietnam (that everyone knows), he is Ho Chi Minh. I’m going to talk about Ho Chi Minh, a famous person in Vietnam. + Uncle Ho is the greatest leader of Vietnam. + He was born in 1890 in Nghe An province. His father was a teacher. His mother was a farmer. + He could use different languages such as French, English, Russian, Chinese, ect. + He devoted his whole life to the independence of Vietnam and the happiness of Vietnamese people. + He died in 1969 but he is always in Vietnamese people’s mind. MY FAVOURITE SEASON + There are four seasons (SPRING, SUMMER, AUTUMN, and WINTER) in Vietnam but my favourite season is Summer. + Summer is from April to June. + I like summer for some reasons: Firstly, it is great time for outdoor activities. I often go swimming when it is hot. Secondly, children don’t have to go to school. It’s time for them to relax. Thirdly, my family have long holidays in summer. MY FAVOURITE SPORT + There are many sports, but my favourite sport is football. + There are 2 teams in a football match. Each team has 11 players. + When playing football, we have to kick the ball with the help of the foot. We can’t touch the ball with our hands, except the goalkeeper. + Normally, a football match lasts 90 minutes. + My favourite football team is Vietnam/ Manchester United/ Liverpool. + My favourite football player is Quang Hai. Firstly, you must avoid fast or junk foods. Secondly, you should eat more fruits and vegetables. Thirdly, doing exercise regularly is a good way. (you can go swimming, go jogging, go to the gyms). Finally, keep the smile on your lips. I’m going to talk about…. 13. My favourite mean of transport My favourite mean of transport is car. There are many benefits of travelling by car. + Firstly, travelling by car is safer than travelling by bicycle and motorbike. + Secondly, it is suitable for travelling long distance. + Thirdly, cars can carry a lot of people and luggage. + Finally, travelling by car is comfortable. You can relax by listening to music, reading books… I’m going to talk about…. 14. My house Now I’m living with my family in a house in Bac Giang city. My house was built 3 years ago. It was painted light yellow. There are 5 rooms in my house: a living room, a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. I like the living room. In this room, there are a table, 4 sofas, a TV, 2 pictures on the wall and an air conditioner. It is small but cozy. We often gather in the living room to drink tea and watch TV together. I also like the balcony where there are many kinds of flowers. I’m going to talk about…. 15. The last party I went to + Last week, I went to my friend’s birthday party. Her name is Huong. + The party took place in Huong’s house. + There were her family and her friends invited. + During the party, we sang and danced, ate birthday cake and gave Huong presents. We had a good time until 10 p.m. + I think Huong was very happy on her birthday party.
