1970
It has 400 employees and a revenue of 700 mil $/ year
In 1990 they fired all managers except the CEO.
Costs dropped by 30%
They had 10% revenue increase every year since.

• 10.000 managers are needed to lead it. 1:10 ratio
• 1.111 more managers are needed to manage the managers

PROJECT 1: DEMAND FORECAST
Problem:

In the past the estimate for future production was given by human.
•
Losses of 1 mil euro/ year:

If you produce more you throw away the bread.
If you produce less you loose orders.
Solution (BIG DATA ANALYTICS):

Now we have a predictive algorithm that guesses how much bread is
going to be sold tomorrow.
•
The algorithm is searching for trends, patterns and sesonalitites in the
past to extrapolate for the future.

Problem:

In the past clients (shops) were sending their orders through Vel Pitar
call center.

If the client forgot to call the order was lost.

Now we have a robot taking predicting and sending orders to all
shops.

40% of the orders are now sent automatically by the robot.
