Department Head TECHNOLOGY AND LIVELIHOOD EDUCATION June Orientation of students in all levels regarding the subject as well as giving of diagnostic test for Grade 8 to Grade 10. Conducted pre-test for all levels. Submitted mean results of diagnostic and pre-test to the guidance office. Department meeting was conducted to make plans about the Nutrition Month Activities and other important reminders to teachers on lesson plan, schedule of classes and other matters. Observed the following teachers: a. Mrs. Maria Cristina T. Vizmanos b. Mrs. Neriza S. Sulieta July Celebrated the Nutrition Month with the following activities showcasing students’ skills and at the same time to scout for the possible contestants in preparation to some contest proper for the Division Technolympics. a. Bulletin Board Display b. Poster making c. Nail Art d. Nutri- Jingle e. Cooking contest Awarding for the Nutrition Month Activities was done during the last week of August due to many suspension of classes during the month of July at the respective classroom during TLE time. Conducted simple project making activity to raise funds on voluntary basis (bead craft making and printing of t-shirt) wherein proceeds will be utilize to procure LED television, repair of sewing machine, and budget for the Division Technolympics. Prepared and submitted the First Periodical test to the TLE Division Supervisor. Observed the following teachers: a. Mrs. Divina E. Gargaritano b. Mrs. Anniza A. Reyes c. Mr. Redford Newman V. Filart Teacher Induction Program was attended by Mrs.Tiangco, Mrs. Reyes, and Mrs. Suarez. August GAD (Gender and Development) Program Seminar was attended by Mrs. Suarez, Mrs. Tiangco and Mrs. Payomo. Started scouting for the possible contestants in ICT in preparation for the Division Technolympics. Conducted the first periodical test in all grade level and submitted the mean results to the Guidance Office. Observed the newly hired teacher, Ms. Beverly Suarez. Submitted the ISLA (Intensified Students Learners Assessment) Consolidated Summary results to the TLE Division supervisor. September Conducted the Feeding Activity. Procured the LED television and sewing machines were repaired to be used by TLE teachers and students to facilitate the teaching and learning process. Attended the Division TLE Meeting at Sto. Niṅo National High School. Submitted the ISLA (Intensified Students Learners Assessment) Consolidated Summary results to the TLE Division supervisor. Observed the following teachers: a. Mrs. Raquel Hullana b. Ms. Rosalie Modesto c. Mrs. Celeste Teodoro Prepared and submitted the Second Periodical Test to the TLE Division Supervisor. Attended the Seminar Workshop and Benchmarking at Costales Nature Farm, Majayjay Laguna in line with the Gulayan sa Paaralan under the National Greening Program. Attendees are Mrs. Payomo and Mrs. Teodoro. October Department meeting was held to talk about the preparation for the Senior High School, tips of test construction, and preparation for the 4th Division Technolympics and other matters. Observed the class of Mrs. Teresita Lastimado and other walk through observations to other TLE teachers. Remind them on what particular areas that needs to be improve. Teacher Induction Program Part 2 was attended by Mrs. Suarez, Mrs. Tiangco and Mrs. Reyes. In-Service Training for Teachers during the Semestral Break was attended by all TLE teachers except Mrs. Payomo and Mrs. Gargaritano due to the Trainers Methodology I training. November Only three teachers did not submit a complete lesson plan for the month. There are four teachers who incurred tardiness for the month and two teachers have under time due to family reasons and only one teacher who committed more than two absences for the month. Saroca • Plan and prepare for the school campus Christmas Decoration in coordination with the Supreme Student Government. • Trainers Methodology I training continues. Food and Beverage Services continues. The attendees are Ms. Divina E. Gargaritano, Ms. Marilou D. Payomo, Ms. Celeste DG. Teodoro, and Ms. Teresita DG. Lastimado. Participated in the Senior High School Benchmarking wherein guests from Catanduanes Province were welcome. Participated in the school’s Clean Up Drive. Feeding Activity took place. 1st Education Forum: Tourism and Hospitality-The Star Industry Training was attended by Mrs. Raquel Hullana, Mrs. Jeanie Regencia and Mrs. Teresita Lastimado K to 12 Orientation Workshop was attended by Mr. Redford Newman V. Filart. Orientation Workshop on Senior High School Early Registration was attended by Mrs. Anniza A. Reyes. Gender and Development Seminar was attended by Mr. Filart and Mrs. Vizmanos. Mrs. Payomo took a Refresher Course for Bookkeeping NC III and declared Competent during the TESDA Assessment. December All teachers did not incurred more than two instances of absences and tardiness for the month. Three teachers did not submit a complete lesson plan for the month. School campus were decorated for the Christmas Season. Start preparing for the Division Technolympics. Assessment for the FBS NC II/III and Trainers Methodology I of COC 2 were passed by Mrs. Teodoro, Mrs. Lastimado, Ms. Modesto, Mrs. Payomo and Mrs. Gargaritano. CSS NC II Training were attended by Mrs. Divina E. Gargaritano. Feeding Activity took place Gender and Development Seminar was attended by Mrs. Regencia, Mrs. Hullana, Mrs. Buere, Mrs. Columbitay, and Mrs. Zarate A short program was held during the turn-over of a sewing machine by Councilor Samuel Ferriol with the initiative of the PTA President Ms. Vilma Ravago. January Three teachers did not submit a complete lesson plan for the month. Only one teacher incurred more than two absences for the month and three teachers incurred more than two instances of tardiness during the month. Mrs. Gargaritano passed the CSS NC II TESDA Assessment. Observed the following teachers: a. Mrs. Celeste Teodoro c. Mrs. Jeanie Regencia b. Ms. Marilou Lachita Conducted the third periodical test in all year and submitted the mean result to the Guidance Office. Participated in the 4th Division Technolympics last January 14-15, 2016 held at IETI, Marikina City and Marikina High School. ELENA HIGH SCHOOL Participated in the Regional Technolympics last January 22-23, 2016 held at STI Caloocan and Tinajeros National High School in Malabon. Mrs. Gargaritano and Mrs. Teodoro was assigned as contest administrator for the secondary and elementary level. Selected students of Grade 10 and Senior High School attended the Seminar at TIP-Quezon City with Mrs. Odessa Saroca and Mrs. Beverly Suarez with the topic on Basic Android Programming/Photoshop. Results of the Regional Technolympics are: 2nd Place- Web design 4th Place- Creative Hairstyle and Make Up Feeding Activity took place. CSS Training and Web Development training were on-going as well as the Trainers Methodology. Participants are Mrs. Beverly Suarez, Mrs. Ma. Catherine Tiangco, Mrs. Divina Gargaritano, Mrs. Rosalie Modesto and Mrs. Teresita Lastimado. Selected teachers participated in the Continuous Improvement Program. Observed the class of Mrs. Celeste Teodoro and Ms. Marilou Lachita. February Constant reminders to TLE teachers about important things to be accomplished through posting notices to the TLE Group in the FB Account and talking to teachers individually during their free time instead of conducting a department meeting beginning November onwards. Feeding activity took place. Observed Mrs. Neriza S. Sulieta’s class while Mrs. Nida Andrada observed Mrs. Beverly V. Suarez. Class observations by all TLE teachers to the Demonstration Teaching of the Student Teachers from Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Mrs. Suarez and Mrs. Tiangco passed the CSS NC II TESDA Assessment. Trainers Methodology I COC 1 TESDA Assessment was passed by Mrs. Lastimado, Ms. Modesto, Mrs. Gargaritano and Mrs. Payomo Start preparing for the Pre-Finals and Final Examination for all Levels. Seminar Workshop on Basic Photography and Flower Arrangement was attended by Mrs. Teodoro March Pre-final test and final test was conducted in all levels. Mean results was submitted to the guidance office. Gender and Development Seminar was attended by Mrs. Teodoro, Mrs. Sulieta, Mrs. Saroca, Ms. Lachita, Mrs. Gargaritano, Mr. Salvador, Ms. Modesto, and Mrs. Reyes. Participated in the different activities of the school such as Foundation Day, Recognition Day and others.
