User Data Backup/Restore
(1)
Purpose
Backing up user-specific data. This function enables backing up (data saving and
restoring) of the various files created and updated by user operation. This function
allows the user-specific data to be recovered when the data file is lost due to an
incorrect operation or a problem with the magnetic disk.
The following three types of data can be backed up.
MCR
: User-defined measurement data (values set in Application Preset
Editor in Exam Type Edit in the System Setting pop-up menu)
Preset
: User-defined system presets (the preset values set in General Preset,
Peripheral System, OUTPUT, and Exam Information) and imaging
presets (imaging parameter information that can be saved for each
Exam Type by pressing the Preset switch on the touch panel)
Service Preset : Presets related to servicing (the values set using the service menu)
Note:
Removable media must be used to back up the user-specific data.
The system identification data must be stored on the media. Otherwise, the
media is ejected automatically and the data cannot be saved. Each system
requires dedicated media.
