2 more drugs suspects arrested in
Looc raid
Two more men named in the drugs watch
list of the Task Force 24 were apprehended in a
buy-bust operation in Barangay Looc, Dumaguete
City.
Arrested were Reynaldo Mariño Asid, 25,
single of Meciano Road, Barangay Taclobo.
InspectorTeddy Faburada, head of the
buy bust team, said their operation followed a tip
about the presence of Acid who had been the
subject of a three-month surveillance operation
but could not be captured because he was “ too
slippery”.
He identified the other suspected illegal
drug dealer as Bonifacion Quillano, 37, married, a
porter residing in Barangay Looc.
Operatives recovered from the suspects
two transparent plastic sachets containing
suspected shabu, marked as “BB-Awid-Looc and
POSI-Awid-Looc”, shabu paraphernalia; and
P530 in cash delivered to be proceeds from the
sales of illegal drugs.
Police also confiscated improvised
burners, marked “POS2-Awid-Looc” and POS3Awid-Looc” respectively, a tooter marked “POS4Awid-Looc”and 19 empty transparent sachets
with traces of white crystalline substance believed
to be shabu, marked as “POS5-Awid-Looc.”
The Task Force 24 is composed of the
provincial offices of the National Bureau of
Investigation , Philippine National Police in
Dumaguete City , Philippine Drug Enforcement
Agency , and the Criminal Investigation and
Detection Group.
