After analyzing the results, I feel that every team member is aware of the goals and timelines by which the
team must accomplish certain tasks. Accountability is very important for any team and its members, and I
believe our team is aligned with it. Our manager is very supportive in getting us any resources we would need
to finish the task and is reflected in the results here.
From the communication point of view, not all team members would be asked for input and only senior
members would get a say. Also, to make critical decisions, it is again a senior resource who is likely to be
asked. When decisions are made, it will be communicated to every team member so that they are aware of this
decision. Although most of the decisions taken by senior developer would be agreed by every team member,
there were cases where a disagreement was present and, in these cases, – team would gather for a
discussion identifying pros and cons. I know some of my junior team members requested for them to be a part
of the discussion when a decision was to be made, but to limit the number of hours spent on a task, our
manager would still want a senior resource to take a stab first and then present it to team members. Due to
this, I assume there might not be 100% trust between team members.
When the performance of a team member exceeds expectations, then the resource sometimes will be
rewarded with a hike in the salary. Due to this, all team members always try to exceed expectations and have
set high standards among the team. Finally, our team always delivers a task within the deadline and have set a
good example for other teams within the organization.
