BACON'S REBELLION --- POOR CAN'T GET ANY good land cause planters get the good one- they rebel and its successful - cause a lot of trouble and after that the rich decide they need someone to work for them with no ideal of rebellion RESISTANCE OF SLAVERY - began as early as it started and never stopped --- attempt to escape were almost constant- in the newspaper !!!!! ads for trying to find runaway slaves sometimes they succed

- they also tried to go to Spanish FL... they helped the slaves because they don't like the white either --- there are so few people other native americans- so its easier to hide in swamps and wilderness
