Reuters Holdings PLC is a leading news corporation that offers digital information services to
business entities and financial organizations. The multinational has its headquarters in London.
Its benefits are utilized globally in at least 160 countries as a news media organization (Li, 2021).
It employs every approach available in delivering and disseminating information and news
through its connected network of photographers, journalists, and other media–related
professionals. The company’s foundational perspectives are deeply rooted in independence,
integrity, and freedom. Hence its operations are non-partisan, and the company does not
participate in any particular interest faction or group. The company’s strategy is to target new
clients through the newly updated Rewters.com. Such a strategy will attract a global readership
with extensive and intensive data and coverage in the healthcare, legal, sustainable business, and
automotive fields.
An organization requires the best leadership styles or a combination of more than one. Steve
Hasker, the current CEO of Reuters Holdings, leads through charismatic and transformational
leadership styles (Coleman & Bourne, 2018). The organization enjoys immense innovation
processes of the company. The organization’s employees enjoy positive aspects of openness,
empowerment, and creativity, which crucially boost the productivity of this multinational

If I were the appointed CEO of this corporation, I would choose a blend of culture-based
leadership and transformational one because culture is significant in determining the
organization’s success. Culture-based appreciates the unique and varied nature of the cultural
backgrounds of the organizational workers. Managerial techniques offer inspiration and hence
drive productivity and service delivery. I would embrace recruitment methods that support
diversity and employ multicultural staff for the organization. Selection criteria would highly and
handsomely reward working in a multicultural setting. The information dissemination would
integrate and accommodate the insights that get support from the business strategy. Talents that
come with incorporating diverse cultures contribute to organizational performance.
