Usamos el pasado continuo para describir una actividad ininterrumpida que continuó por un periodo en el pasado y para hablar acerca the cosas que estan sucediendo por un periodo continuo en el pasado. to say that somebody was in the middle of doing something (para decir que alguien estaba en medio de algo) He was playing computer games. for two things happening at the same time (para dos situaciones ocurriendo al mismo tiempo en el pasado) He was playing computer games while she was watching TV. for things you were in the middle of doing when another thing happened (para indicar que estabas en medio de algo cuando otra situacion ocurrió) He was watching TV when Tom arrived. Affirmative We form the past continuous tense with the helping verb was/were + verb + -ing. Formamos el pasado continuo con la ayuda de was/were + verbo + ing.
