Steps of installation:
To define position install the panel and make sure that the front area enough space when open the door do not
touch to other. We need to refer to drawing for detail dimension of panel.
To mark position of 4 holes on the wall.
To drill 4 holes have just marking on the wall.
To use bolt anchor M6 or M8 to hold the panel for this case.
To fixed the panel on the wall after alignment by tightening 4 anchors.

4. METHOD FOR INSTALLATION OF MSB PANEL.

To move the modules of to position its and connect them together:
To define position install the panel in the room and make sure that the space at front, rear and both side of
panel are meet requirement or higher as mentioned above.
To move each module into the position its which was defined before.
4. METHOD FOR INSTALLATION OF MSB PANEL.

The modules of panel be connected by the bolts and nuts M12. Below is number of points connection and
detail of bolt.

Main BUSBAR be connected between two modules by link busbar and bolts + nuts M10.

4. METHOD FOR INSTALLATION OF MSB PANEL.

To fixed the MSB panel to the floor after completed installation at least six points by anchor bolt M14 or M16.
Meaning, we need have at least three points at front side and three points at rear side fixed to the floor. The
number of points fixed the panel to the floor depend on the length of panel.

7. SITE ACCEPTANCE TEST PROCEDURE FOR MSB PANEL
Purpose of site acceptance test procedure: The aim of this document is to outline the site acceptance test (S.A.T)
procedure of Main Switch Board.
1. Location of S.A.T.
The S.A.T will be conducted in switch board room at site with panel is clean and ready.
2. Safety & risk control.
To control the risks during the S.A.T, the flowing arrangement will be done:

Safety barriers will be installed surrounding the area where the S.A.T is going to be carried out.

Danger signs will be handed to warn the people who approach the S.A.T area.
3. Visual inspection of Main Switch Board.
Visual inspection with customer will be carried out on the Main Switch Board:
-
To check outlook of panel to make sure do not any unwonted after install at site.

To check outlook of all components to make sure do not any unwonted after go to site.
-
To check power cable arrangement inside panel come from loads connect to the terminal at outgoing side of
feeders and incoming side of incomer breaker. (done by Sunlight’s customer)

To check all connect point which be done at site as control cable connect point between modules with modules,
connect points of busbar connectors at main busbar of panel after link at site by random force tighten by
specialized tool.
7. SITE ACCEPTANCE TEST PROCEDURE FOR MSB PANEL
4. Insulation resistance test- Mega test for MSB and EMSB panel.
The insulation resistance test on the Main Switch Board at site will be carried out as follows:
All the main incoming, coupler, outgoing breakers will be kept close position (OFF), exclude RCCB, ELCB, RCBO.
All the auxiliary circuits which supply to electronic devices, indication lamps, capacitor banks, surge arresters from main
supply will be isolated.
Insulation resistance measurement will be taken: Phase to earth, phase to neutral, phase to phase and neutral to
earth. Using the insulation resistance tester with selection of 1kVDC.
Remark: All the insulation resistance measuring will be record in the form: Insulation test- QC-INS.

7. SITE ACCEPTANCE TEST PROCEDURE FOR MSB PANEL
5. Over current and earth fault test. (Secondary injection current method)
The over current and earth test on the Main Switch Board at site will be carried out by using current injection
equipment injected current to E/F & O/C relay (Secondary current), then over current – earth fault relay will send signal
to control the circuit breaker, these process is followed out:
Carry out setting for over current and earth relay (IDMTL) as:
 Sunlight suggestion for incoming breaker:
• Tripping time is 0.3S.
• Characteristic is 1.3/10. (Normal invert)
• High set for over current: 10 times.
• Pick up over current phases is 100% In.
• Pick up current earth fault
is 10% In for incoming breaker with rating below 1200A and lower than 10% In
for incoming breaker with rating above 1200A.
 Sunlight will follow data from design consultant for setting if have requirement.
Inject the current through the machine test to ‘’L1 ‘’ phase of protection relay and neutral (10, 15 and 25A) and then
record the tripping time respectively.
Repeat the test for L2 phase and L3 phase.
Inject the current through the machine test to ‘’N’’ neutral of protection relay at 2, 3, 5 times setting earth fault current
then record the tripping time respectively.
7. SITE ACCEPTANCE TEST PROCEDURE FOR MSB PANEL
Carry out setting for earth fault protection relay “DTL” as:
 Sunlight suggestion:
 Current earth fault setting 10%In for breaker up to 1200A and 120A for breaker with rating above 1200A (Range
setting of relay from 0.1 to 2.0A).
 Time tripping setting is 0.1S (range setting of relay from 0.0 to 1.0s)
 Sunlight will follow data from design consultant for setting if have requirement.
 Inject the current through the machine test to ‘’2 & 7’’ terminal of protection relay at same current setting for earth
fault protection relay then record the time tripping respective.
6. The function test on the Main Switch Board at site will be carried out:
• To check mechanical interlock without supply power.(do not supply power to Main circuit and control circuit). We
carry out to check it base on sequence have designed.
• To check electrical interlocking with supplier power for control circuit 220VAC. We carry out to check it base on
sequence have designed.
• To supply power to control circuit and do not supply power to main circuit to test the function of ATS. We carry out
the testing base on sequence have designed.
• We will carry out all the function test for another control circuit have design in this panel.
• All the testing will be recording the result at that time.
7. SITE ACCEPTANCE TEST PROCEDURE FOR MSB PANEL
TOOLING AND EQUIPMENT SUPPORTING FOR TESTING.

TORQUE SCREW DRIVER:
- Measuring range: (210)Nm
- Function: Check tightening torque of screw
2. TORQUE WRENCH:
- Torque range: (2  20)Nm; (20  100)Nm
- Function: Check tightening torque of bolt

- Timer: (0  999999) Seconds
Function:
+ Test Over Current (O/C) Relay
+ Test Earth Fault (E/F) Relay
EQUIREMENT SUPPORT AT SITE AFTER SALE.
6. THERMAL IMAGER WITH STANDARD INFRARED LENS(Fluke Ti450):
- Temperature measurement range: -20 °C to +1200 °C
(not calibrated below -10 °C)
Function:
Scan hot spot for electrical panels and other
systems.
EQUIREMENT SUPPORT AT SITE AFTER SALE.
7. POWER QUALITY INSPECTION ANALYSE METER:
- Measurement: THD Voltage (1÷40); THD Current (1÷40)
- Measurement: P-Q-S-A-V-F
- Measurement: Events, transients, interruption, unbalance
Function:
Measurement analysis power quality.

8. HIGH VOLT TESTER:
- Current range: (1100)mA

CERTIFICATE OF CALIBRATION BY ‘’ QUATEST 3 ‘’
Noted:
Depend on equipment, period of six moths
or one year. We need send the equipment
to calibration center for checking.
