A. TEAM COMPOSITIONS
There will be four (4) competing teams. This is to give each teams the opportunity to
maximize their capabilities and to socialize with one another through Laro ng Lahi.

C. SCORING SCHEME
All games are given equal weight with the following pointing system for every place in the
various games. Each group representative will randomly pick their team mates on the different
games via draw lots or any kinds of manuhan according to the mechanics of each game made
by the facilitators.

D. GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR ALL CONTESTED EVENTS

All teams must wear comfortable and suited attire in executing different games given.
No one should violate the rules and guidelines set by the facilitators.
Any forms of cheating is strictly not allowed and will have deductions on the points.
The accumulated points garnered in every game will be the determining factor on who
will we the winner. The team with the highest points will garner the first place and vice
versa.
E. ACTIVITIES AND PARTICULARS
A. Sama-Sack Race
a. Venue:
 In front of R- Building
b. Mechanics:
i. There should be 10 representatives for each team either male or female.
ii. All participants should wear comfortable attire (team-colored shirt, PE
pants, rubber shoes).
iii. When the facilitators signals “Go”, the team should cut first the cloth
given by the Council and tie it on the wrist of every member. Such cloth
shall represent their team color and the team shall only proceed with the
game until all members has the cloth on their wrist. Any violation shall
correspond an additional 10 seconds on the team’s time.
iv. The first member should immediately put his feet in the sack before
hopping to the starting line
v. Contestants must keep both feet in sack and at least one hand on the sack
at all times and the sack must remain as close to the waist as possible and
should not fall below the knees. If not followed, the member must do it
all over again.
vi. Player must be able to reach in the turning point in which the facilitators
will give a biscuit and the player must put it on his/her forehead while
moving one’s face until the biscuit is eaten and they should go back to the
starting line with an empty mouth for the next player join the race, until
all the 10 players enter the sack and turn back to the starting line.
vii. The members should follow the path instructed by the facilitators and
should not make any form of shortcuts. Any team who will be caught
cheating must do it all over again.
viii. The first team who will finish the race shall proceed to the next station by
answering a riddle.
B. Tatsing Ball
a. Venue:
 Open Field
b. Mechanics:
i. There should be 8 representatives each team either male or female.
ii. All participants should wear comfortable attire (team-colored shirt, PE
pants, rubber shoes).
iii. In the game proper, there will be an allotted space for the groups to
perform the task given by the facilitators.
iv. The game is a combination between Tatsing and and touching ball.
v. Before starting the game, there must be one representative each group to
execute draw-lots in order to determine who plays first and who will be
their opponent.
vi. Each group will be given one egg to protect.
vii. Each group must choose their greatest protector (the mother) who will
never let the egg be destroyed no matter what happens. If the protector is
hit, he/she is required to transfer the egg to another protector.
viii. The participants will assemble inside the particular space allotted and
must stay intact all throughout the game in order to win.
ix. The game is executed by having the participants as an alternative of the
bottle caps in tatsing.
x. Instead of using a stone to hit the bottle caps which are represented by
the participants each group, touching ball will be used to hit the
participants who are intact in the space allotted.
xi. It is the responsibility of the participants to protect their egg and also
their number. If anyone accidentally stepped out of the line, the
participant will be out of the group.
xii. A participant is declared out once he/she is hit. The game ends when all
participants of the team are declared out or if the egg is shattered.
xiii. The team with the longest time in the playing field shall be declared the
winner.
C. MampiPiko
a. Venue:
 Open Field
b. Mechanics:
i. There should be 8 representatives each team either male or female.
ii. The group should line up. They can decide the order of the players.
iii. Only hops or skips are allowed using either left or right foot.
iv. The first player will spin 5 times.
v. The first player tosses his pamato to rectangle no. 1. If he steps out of the
rectangle or his pamato was outside the line, he will start again.
vi. The player then tosses his pamato to rectangle 2, 3a, 3b, 4, 5a, 5b and 6.
vii. After he has played the entire rectangle, he tosses the pamato strong
enough to pass over to rectangle no. 1. Hops passing rectangle no. 5 to 1
then jumps over the pamato
viii. When the first player is done, the second player will proceed. He will
also be spun 5 times.
ix. The game will end after all the members are done. The fastest group to
finish will be the winner.
D. Blind Kadang-Kadang
a. Venue:
 Open Field
b. Mechanics:
i. There should be 5 representatives each team either male or female to play
the game.
ii. The teams should also have 1 representative each that should serve as the
direction of each player in order to reach the finish line.
iii. All participants should wear comfortable attire (team-colored shirt, PE
pants, rubber shoes).
iv. The 5 players each team should line up.
v. The game should begin once the facilitators have given the command to
do so.
vi. The players each team must race back and forth by means of coconut stilts
while wearing a blindfold. The other representatives must give directions
to the players as they play blindfolded.
vii. Each player must not fall or trip while reaching the finish line.
viii. The procedures must go after each player until all of them reach the finish
line.
ix. The first team who will finish the game will be considered as the winner.
