ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Prateek is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist
trained at the National Institute of Mental Health &
Neurosciences, Bangalore. He is currently working as a
consultant clinical psychologist at The Green Oak
Initiative. He is also a fellow at the Washington Baltimore
Center for Psychoanalysis.
His clinical work including assessment, diagnosis and treatment
predominantly incorporates a psychoanalytic approach to thinking
about the patients and their difficulties which is in synchrony with
their social, cultural and political identities. Apart from his clinical
work, Prateek also pursues writing and has published articles
and essays on the intersection of clinical psychology,
psychotherapy and public mental health.
