Article VII: Meetings Section 1: For effective administration of the Organization there shall be the following meetings: 1. Annual General Meeting 2. General Monthly Meeting 3. Emergency Meeting Section 2: The quorum of the meeting shall be respectively be: 1. One fourth of the registered members for the Annual General Meeting. 2. Two thirds of the Management Committee for the General Monthly Meeting. 3. Six members of the Management Committee present every Emergency meeting. Section 3. The governing body of the organization shall be the management committee elected by simple majority votes of members present in the General meeting. Section 4: Powers and duties of the general meeting and the management committee are as follows: 1. Every member present must sign the attendance register at every Annual General Meeting. 2. The Monthly General Meeting shall be held once in every month. 3. The Monthly General Meeting shall in addition discussed the following: i. Confirm the admission and termination of members. ii. Make rule when necessary for the smooth operations of the organization’s business. iii. Determine appeals from members and staff. 4. The Management Committee shall consist of the following: i. President ii. Vice President iii. Secretary iv. Assistant Secretary. v. Treasurer vi. Auditor vii. P.R.O 5. All the Management Committee members shall be elected at the Organization’s Annual General Meeting, in an event of vacancy occurred during the year, at any Monthly General Meeting. 6. The management committee shall be governed following the law of the organization and shall stay in office for 1 year. Any vacancy filled during the year shall be terminated along with the members of the management committee. No member shall remain in the same office for more than two terms. 7. Any member of the management committee may be subject to impeachment the following are the requisites for the impeachment: i. Verified complaint for impeachment must be filed by any at least two thirds of the Member of the Organization ii. There shall be determination of sufficiency in form and substance to ensure that the complaint has valid grounds. iii. The respondent is given notice and time to plead if the committee finds substance in the filed complaint. iv. Protection to Complainants must be assured although the petition.
