What is Eternal Law?
• Eternal Law is the
Divine Wisdom of
God which
oversees the
common good and
governs
everything.
What is Conscience?
• Conscience is an
inner feeling or
voice viewed as
acting as a guide
to the rightness or
wrongness of
one’s behavior.

RELATIONSHIP OF
THIS TWO NORMS OF
MORALITY?
SUMMARY:
• Summing the matter up, we say that the
Norm of Morality, is remotely and
ultimately (but primarily), the Eternal
Law.
• While proximately (but secondarily) it is
conscience.
• In reality, then there are not two norms
but only one.
