Scholarship Award guideline & application
The applicant for the St Catherine Baptist Association Brotherhood Educational Scholarship
should be able to meet the following criteria
Eligibility

Enrolled in a secondary High School at form one
In financial need
Received permission from parent(s) /Guardian
Recommended by the Brotherhood Member from the Branch or the Association
Associated with a Baptist Church.
Have good Behaviour
Fill out the Application form which must be signed by the parent(s)/Guardian and the
Brotherhood member making the recommendation
8) Reference letter from either from a Justice of the Peace, Principal, Pastor
Award Criteria
The Initial award is for the first year of acceptance to High School; however the
awardees must maintain the following.
!) Maintain a minimum of (B-) average
2) Participate in Extra-Curricular, Church & Community Involvement
3) Maintain good school attendance.
Timeline
The application must be completed and return to the Secretary of the St Catherine
Baptist Association Brotherhood by the 31st of July, for application to be considered.
Please note that the interview will take place on the second Saturday of August 10am at
the Phillippo Baptist Church 9 William St Spanish Town.
