Ahmad and I am currently a student pursuing my
degree in civil engineering department at bayero
university Kano. I came across this scholarship
program through scholarship group via whatsapp
and I believe I am great fit for the program.
I am facing different challenges and and
getting a lot of experiences and skills in my life since
I am in secondary school before even choose to be
an engineer in details let me talk on my personality
especially concerning academic achievement I have
passed my external exams with nine credit in neco
and eight credit in waec in which A & B are the most

my studies and morally upright,this is what leaded
my improvement to achieved many success in my
life by having many certificate and awards gave
to me as a result of partipated in certain competition

three winner of cowbellpedia
competition, and In centre for information and

Dear sir,,
My name is Giyasu Abdurrahman Ahmad and I was recently a student of civil engineering
among the top universities in Nigeria named Bayero University kano.I am writing to respectfully
request consideration of appeal for financial aid toward my study.
In recent times,I have been experiencing a lot of personal problems relating to my
family.this has taken a toll on my education which caused to divide my attention in some hours
to visit school and some certain hours to go manual work in order to earn money and there are
many courses need a total attention for undergraduate to pass them,this leading me to get
difficult more and more in my studying at this prestigious university.
I have about ten brothers and five sisters in which their level of education not exceed secondary
education but unfortunately due the destiny our father found himself it becomes difficult for most
of them to continue their education is only me that I have started tertiary institutions level 1,so
even what we are going to eat in our family is sometimes difficult to get so we all lose hope
toward the continue of our education even I don't know how would i deal with returning
registration because we are going to level 2 by the next two month.
My mother is house wife,she don't have any job but she did her best to see that what
ever she got is forwarded to the family for everyone to benefit,when ever I met with my father I
can't ask him for financial support because i knew he doesn't have,he is now not even suffice
his own need,but since from my primary education upto this level that I am currently in I was fits
academically and socially but financially I got negation,i can't contributes toward our society or
community with anything relating to money back and I needs to graduate as soon as possible
but always my deeply thinking concern with returning registration fees in which each and every
student must pay about fifty thousand naira,I don't know where I will gets that money and I don't
have the source of income that definitely I can get it so at all I lose hope toward the completion
of my degree.
Receiving financial aid will allow me to focus on my study during the whole year without
having to worry about earning extra money,i will continue to work in the weekend to cover my
life expenses,but I will be able to keep the weekdays free to focus solely on my school
work,therefore with humble appeal you will help in providing financial support to me that I can be
able to continue my studies.
