Identity shifting

"Reality Transurfing" is a personal development and self-help method developed by Vadim
Zeland, a Russian physicist and author. The framework is rooted in the idea that our thoughts
and emotions influence and shape our reality. According to Zeland, reality isn't fixed, and by
applying certain principles, one can influence and shift to desirable life tracks or versions of
reality.
Here are the core concepts of Reality Transurfing:
1. **Space of Variations**: This concept refers to the infinite field of information that contains
all possible scenarios, events, routes, and tracks of reality. In simpler terms, it's like an infinite
space of potential realities.
2. **Life Tracks**: Within the Space of Variations, there are countless paths (or life tracks) that
one's life can follow. These tracks are predetermined scenarios or realities. By adjusting one's
thoughts, emotions, and energy, one can navigate to desired tracks.
3. **Pendulums**: These are energetic structures that feed off the collective energy of groups
of people with shared thoughts, emotions, or beliefs. Examples might include political parties,
fandoms, religions, or even social media trends. Pendulums can be detrimental if they drain
personal energy and lead individuals away from their desired life tracks.
4. **The Wave of Fortune**: A positive stream of events. When you're on this wave, everything
seems to go your way. The key to staying on this wave is maintaining a positive energy flow and
avoiding getting entangled in negative or resistive thoughts and emotions.
5. **Importance**: One of the central tenets of Reality Transurfing. Assigning too much
importance or significance to something can create an imbalance in energy, leading to
undesirable outcomes. By reducing excessive importance, one can avoid obstacles and
undesirable life tracks.
6. **Outer Intention vs. Inner Intention**: Inner intention is the willpower and effort we put
into achieving our goals. Outer intention, on the other hand, is the force of the universe (or the
Space of Variations) that aligns circumstances in our favor. It's like "letting go" and allowing the
universe to work its magic.
7. **Heart and Mind Coordination**: This is about aligning one's feelings (heart) and thoughts
(mind). When both are in harmony, achieving desired realities becomes much easier.
8. **Slides**: These are visualization tools where you mentally rehearse and live out your
desired reality. By consistently playing these slides in your mind, you can influence your current
reality towards your desired state.
9. **Guardian**: A protective, guiding force that can steer you away from negative scenarios if
you learn to listen to it. It's somewhat akin to intuition or a guardian angel in other
philosophies.
10. **Frailing**: A technique where you aim to understand and meet the needs of others,
thereby creating a harmonious environment where others are inclined to meet your needs in
return.
The essence of Reality Transurfing is to navigate through the vast space of potential realities
(Space of Variations) to find and align oneself with the most favorable life track. This is achieved
by mastering one's energy, thoughts, and emotions, and by understanding and leveraging the
principles outlined in the framework.
Identity shifting is a transformative process where one changes their internal beliefs, values, and
self-perception, leading to a change in external behavior and circumstances. It's about
embracing a new self-image that aligns with your goals and the person you want to become.
Here's a basic program/workbook structure to facilitate identity shifting:
## Identity Shifting Workbook
### Introduction:
- **Objective**: Understand the concept of identity shifting and its benefits.
- **Activity**: Journal about your current self-image and what aspects of your identity you'd
like to change.
### 1. Assessment and Reflection:
- **Objective**: Gain clarity on your current identity.
- **Activity**:
- List out beliefs, habits, and values you currently hold.
- Note down situations where these beliefs and habits manifest.
### 2. Envision Your Desired Identity:
- **Objective**: Clearly define the identity you want to shift to.
- **Activity**:
- Describe in detail the person you want to become. Consider habits, beliefs, values, and
behaviors.
- Visualize a day in the life of this 'new' you.
### 3. Bridge the Gap:
- **Objective**: Identify barriers to your new identity and create solutions.
- **Activity**:
- List differences between your current identity and desired identity.
- For each difference, write actionable steps to close the gap.
### 4. Affirmations and Visualizations:
- **Objective**: Use the power of the subconscious to reinforce your desired identity.
- **Activity**:
- Write affirmations that align with your new identity. E.g., "I am disciplined and focused on my
goals."
- Dedicate 5-10 minutes daily to visualize living as your desired identity.
### 5. Replace Old Habits:
- **Objective**: Cultivate habits that align with your new identity.
- **Activity**:
- List out habits that don’t serve your new identity.
- For each old habit, replace it with a new one that aligns with who you want to be.
- Commit to practicing these new habits for at least 21 days (typically the time it takes to form
a new habit).
### 6. Surround Yourself with Reinforcements:
- **Objective**: Create an environment and social circle that supports your new identity.
- **Activity**:
- Evaluate your environment and make changes if they remind you of the old identity.
- Connect with people who reflect or support your desired identity.
### 7. Track Progress and Celebrate Wins:
- **Objective**: Monitor your transformation journey and reinforce positive changes.
- **Activity**:
- Set up weekly check-ins to evaluate how you're aligning with your desired identity.
- Celebrate small wins and milestones.
### 8. Continual Reflection and Adjustment:
- **Objective**: Ensure that your identity shift remains in alignment with your evolving goals
and desires.
- **Activity**:
- Monthly deep reflection sessions: Are you happier with this new identity? What challenges
have arisen?
- Adjust your course based on these reflections. Remember, it's a journey and not a one-time
event.
### Closing:
Revisit your initial journal entry and reflect on the changes you've made. Remember to be
patient and compassionate with yourself; deep-rooted beliefs and habits take time to change.
This workbook serves as a foundation. Depending on your needs, you can expand on it, delve
deeper into specific sections, or incorporate additional resources and techniques.
