EEI Internship Application
I have not had a true internship experience before. I moved to the United States about two
years ago to further my education and couldn’t receive proper advice considering when to
begin my search for a summer internship until it was too late. COVID-19 wasn’t a great help
either. But that’s why I believe I am the perfect candidate for this internship opportunity. I
know that the knowledge I have attained and the desire I have to learn more is invaluable to
companies such as EEI.
Seeing as I have never worked for a real company before, one may be skeptical regarding my
ability to function in a work setting. However, I believe the enthusiasm I have would prove
useful for the company and its employees alike. More often than not, all it takes to increase
productivity is an air of positivity in the room. This job would be setting me up for the future, so
I see no reason to do any less than my best in it.
I also hope to invent a machine that would make a lot of people’s lives easier at a low cost in
the future. I’ve had a few ideas with a few friends in the past but, admittedly, nothing very
realistic. It was all in good fun, but I find myself becoming increasingly serious about this
venture, and I imagine this added innovative drive would be valuable as well.
