There is this statement and situation that is trending nowadays in social
media. Wherein MTRCB stated that the noontime show “It’s Showtime” is
suspended for 12 days. As far as I know, this suspension of MTRCB went
viral on social media platforms. Some people even made memes about it.
MTRCB’s suspension received mixed reactions from social media and the
public. Netizens on social media expressed their opinions about it and said
that their actions were not that appropriate for young audience. I think the
best way to avoid this or to not make the situation worse is that It’s
Showtime hosts could’ve been more careful in their choice of words and
actions while making fun of it that is also suitable for young audience.
Additionally, I think MTRCB could’ve lessen the penalty that they gave to the
noontime show because the crew and staffs are more affected in MTRCB’s
decision.
