PRAYER
We thank you GOD for this opportunity that we could
be able to develop our mind, body and spirit through
education.
We are hoping for your graceful blessings for us to cope
up with these trying times.
On this day, we can humbly offer our kindness, respect
and perseverance to become a little more than what we
are before.
AMEN
How can we change
solids?
Ways in physically changing solid materials
like a piece of wood, rubber band, paper
clip and aluminum rod.
Objectives:
Describe
Changes in
Solid
Materials
when they are
Bent, Pressed,
Hammered, or
Cut.
• CUTTING involves the use of physical forces
to cut an object. May
it be blade, scissors or other mechanical tools
into physical contact with the object being cut.
Ideas to
Remember
• HAMMERING is a process of using a tool
known as a hammer to deliver an impact to an
object. This is usually to drive nails, fix parts,
forge metal, and break apart objects.
• Using different tools, they change the size,
shape, texture and weight of the solid
materials. No new material is formed. It only
changes its physical appearance..
Can you determine if the tools below is
used for bending, hammering or pounding,
pressing and cutting?
Kindly answer activity 2.1 Show me, on Science
4 module 3.
THANK YOU!
