J2J Adapter, c. EV Inlet: 55-j1772_recept J2J Adapter Latch J2J Adapter Plug EV inlet Charger Plug J2J Adapter Inlet J2J Adapter 3. Work on the J2J Adapter ONLY. It is made of many parts. Three parts are plastic parts: a. Plug: 50-j1772_plug-xx b. Inlet: 50-j1772_recpt_mod-xx c. Latch: 50-j1772_latch_v2 2 "Party line" "Ridge" J2J Adapter PLUG wall: make it 4.1 mm Remove this RIDGE and add a GROVE J2J Adapter Plug: 50-j1772_plug-xx 4. Work on Plug and Inlet: a. increase the thickness of external walls (both parts) to 4.1 mm. Do not modify the internal side and shape of the internal walls (both parts). Note: the overall cross section of the device will increase, however the internal shape and dimensions must not change. b. Inner and outer walls draft angles according to the slides 9-11 in doc ELEVATE Mechanical Update.pdf. This doc reports the discussion results with the injection molding contractor Slopes of the walls are needed to extract the plastic part from the mold tooling after injection of the plastic. c. Outer external tapering surface should be rebuilt as a spline surface. 3 d. Modify the mating between the two parts in "Tongue and groove joint with energy director". Note. Tongue is on Plug and Groove on Inlet.
