You should now hover over the "Manage my account" menu and select "Update my personal information" 4) You will be prompted to enter the Date of Birth of the account holder to proceed to the personal information page. So please enter the date of birth provided with my British Airways accounts and you'll now be able to see the personal information page of the account holder. (My British Airways accounts are always supplied with the Date of Birth of the account holder so we can proceed with no problem). 3) Open a new tab and navigate to this link: https://www.avios.com/gb/en_gb/myaccount/joinavios/yourpersonaldetails?from=joinNav 4) You should now fill out the signup form, but you must use the EXACT details as displayed on the British Airways personal information page. The only information which doesn't have to be the same as the information displayed on the British Airways account is the email address you just created and the phone number. 5) Once you've filled out the Avios signup form and double checked that the information entered matches that on the British Airways account, you should proceed on the Avios page by clicking "NEXT PAGE". 6) The page you will now see will be the "Set up username & password" page. Here you should choose your username and password. There's also an additional two boxes on the page as you can see in the screenshot below which asks for place of birth and mothers maiden name. This information can be completely random at your discretion. Fill out the form and hit "SUBMIT DETAILS". 7) That's it! Your Avios account is now set up and ready for points transfer. (Take note of the log in information as you'll need it in a moment). 8) You should now log out of the British Airways account, and load up the British Airways site in a different browser and log back in. Once you're back at the "My Executive Club" page, hover over the "Manage my account" menu and select "Combine my Avios". 9) On the next page, scroll down and click the "Combine my Avios" button. 10) You will now see the Combine my Avios page, you should select "Avios" from the "Select programme" drop down box. 11) Now, enter the username and password for the Avios account you just created and tick the box next to "Please confirm that you agree with this privacy policy to log in" before hitting "Log in & continue". **PLEASE NOTE** If you see an error stating that the account details do not match, this means you have failed to register the Avios account with the exact details as provided on the British Airways account. 13) Now, select "British Airways to Avios" and enter your desired amount of points to be transferred to the Avios account you just created. 14) Click "Review Combine my Avios" and you'll be presented with a page asking you to accept the terms and conditions along with a final button reading "Combine my Avios" Tick the box, hit that button and watch the magic happen :) 15) The email account you created earlier will receive an email confirming the transfer of points into the Avios account. 16) You should now log out of the Avios account and log back in. Your points will be waiting for you :) ======================================================================== ======================================================================== = ======================================================================== ======================================================================== = ======================================================================== ======================================================================== = =================================================================== Part 2 Avios) How to spend Avios points on the Avios.com website. =================================================================== Spending points on the Avios website is extremely easy. Simply navigate around the site and make your choice of booking (whether it be flights, hotels, car hire etc). Once you've found your desired travel option, proceed to add it to the basket as you would if you were booking legitimately. When you come to the final stages of checkout, you will be given the option to use your available Avios points balance to fulfill the transaction. It is at your own discretion whether or not you choose to use your own legitimate details when making bookings as I do not guarantee that hotels / flight providers or car hire offices will or will not request ID of the person who made the booking. Once a booking has been made, you will receive a confirmation email of your booking along with any necessary travel documentation / vouchers. ======================================================================== ============= Part 3 British Airways) How to secure and take control of a British Airways account. ======================================================================== ============= Securing a British Airways account is also an easy procedure, although you should remember that any changes made to a British Airways account will be sent via email in a notification format to the original account holder. Before changing anything, I would suggest changing the email on the account first before changing anything else, that way the account holder will only receive one email regarding the change of email address as opposed to emails about other changes you may decide to make. Once you've changed the email, you should then change other information on the account. This includes name, address and password (this will make it less likely for the original account holder to regain access to their account after you've taken control). ======================================================================== ====== Part 4 British Airways) How to make bookings with a British Airways account. ======================================================================== ====== I strongly advise that you secure a British Airways account before attempting to make any bookings using the platform to prevent the account holder arousing suspicions of unauthorized activity on their account. Just like spending points on the Avios website, the same applies to British Airways. Please refer to "Part 2 Avios) How to spend Avios points on the Avios.com website." When you get to the final stage of the checkout when making a booking, you will notice some text boxes with the account holders information inside (name, address, email, telephone). The first and last names will be replaced with your primary passengers name and any extra passengers information will be entered further down the page. Also, to stop the account holder being notified of your booking, just remove a letter from the email address and change a digit in the phone number, the account holder will not receive any booking emails / SMS messages. When you've made your booking, just click "save pdf" on the confirmation page to download your booking documents directly, no need to have them emailed to you :)
