PLOT THE FOLLOWING
SITUATION
Situation 1:
Susan, G3P2 was admitted at 2am today, BP 110/70, PR- 80/min. T-36.8, FHT – 148/min. cervix
4cm dilated BOW intact, she had 2-3 uterine
contraction in 10 minutes.
After 4 hours, IE showed 6cm dilated cervix, vital
signs and FHT were the same.
At 8am, another IE done showed 7cm dilated cervix,
negative BOW, clear AF, FHT- 138/minute. Another
IE after 2hours was the same, FHT- 142/minute,
vital signs the same.
Situation 2:
Karen G2P1, was admitted today at 1pm, IE showed a 5
cm dilated cervix, cephalic, intact BOW, BP- 120/80, PR88/min, T 36.7, FHT- 140/minute.
She had moderate contraction 3 in 10 minutes.
At 5pm the BOW ruptured with clear amniotic fluid, IE
showed 8cm dilated cervix, vital signs were the same.
At 7pm, cervix was 9cm she delivered spontaneously, at
7:30pm, 10 U Oxytocin was given IM, placenta was
delivered complete at 7:35pm.
