SAN Mateo North District VICTORIA INTEGRATED SCHOOL ____________________________________________________________________________________ ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT ON BRIGADA ESKWELA 2023 School Year 2023-2024 I.RATIONALE Relative to DM No. 21 , s. 2023 otherwise known as the “2023 Brigada Eskwela Implementing Guidelines” in preparation for the opening of classes for SY 2023-20234 , all public elementary and secondary schools nationwide will implement BRIGADA ESKWELA from August 14 to August 19. The said activity focuses on collaboration and strengthening partnership engagements that compliment DepEd efforts to implement the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) and to ensure the delivery of quality basic education. Program of activities was divided into three essential stages: I) Pre- Implementation Stage which includes organization of Brigada Eskwela committees, assessment of physical facilities and maintenance needs of the school, advocacy and social marketing, resource mobilization and firming up activities for the actual Brigada Eskwela Week, II) Implementation Stage that deals with the registration, motorcade, simple opening program, briefing of working teams, actual implementation of school work plan, recording of daily accomplishments and final inspection; III) Post Implementation Stage that refers to the preparation of final consolidated school accomplishments reports and submission to Division Office (Portfolio with Pictorials.) In connection to this, Victoria Integrated School with the cooperation of stakeholders and parents, joined hand in hand in creating a place where pupils will surely be safe and at the same time, unite to fill the gaps between ignorance and education. II. BAYANIHAN is evident within the VIS community. In accordance to DM No.21 , s. 2023, BRIGADA ESKWELA was successfully implemented at Victoria Integrated School through the joint effort of both the external and internal stakeholders (Barangay Officials, non-Government Organizations (NGOs), civicspirited individuals, parent and teaching and non-teaching personnels) parents were oriented on the activities to be done with regards to BRIGADA ESKWELA. Cleaning the school ground, regular mitigation, pruning trees, cutting tall grasses and looking for possible stakeholders who can donate printing materials and bondpaper and among others were just some of the activities that the parents and stakeholders will take into consideration. VIS in cooperation with its stakeholders made sure of the safety of the pupils by conducting information dissemination through flyers and rendered services in creating a safe learning environment. Working as one, VIS has reached its goal of sustaining a safe environment . Classrooms were cleaned and structured, tall grasses were cut, trees were pruned and the vegetable garden was planted with different kinds of vegetables. With these safety measures and by working hand in hand with the internal and external stakeholders, VIS has created a safe and conducive learning environment. Submitted by: LILIBETH M.
