STUBTAB SET UP GUIDE OBJECTIVE: To set up your own personal computer to be able to use STUBTABS. STEPS: 1. Download Firefox Latest Version from this link a. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ b. Take note that mac users and windows have to download different versions and install. 2. Download the StubTabs Extension from the following link on the Firefox that you have just installed. 🦊 Firefox (en-US) a. StubTabs – Get this Extension for b. Click Add to the notification as shown: c. A new window will open as following, Click YES: 3. Once installed it would look something like this on the right hand side of the browser near the url bar: a. Select Allow this Extension to run in private Windows and select OK. 4. Once this is done go to the following website to gain your IP address in chrome: a. ENSURE THAT NO VPN IS ON! b. http://geo.geosurf.io/ c. Results should look something like this: d. Copy the IP address from this page and send it to either Suren or Frances on slack. Kindly do not share this IP address with anyone else. 5. Once Suren/Frances has given confirmation that you can now use StubTabs. This normally takes about 30 mins after receipt of IP. a. Click on the StubTab Extension and click settings. b. The page should load up like this: c. Request for a License Key from Frances/Suren. Add it to the StubTabs license key field. d. Select Geosurf option on the left hand side. The resulting page should look like this: e. Select Enable GeoSurf Support. No other Changes are needed. Once that is done close the Tab on Firefox. f. Then click on the extension and click Log out. Once that is done click Log in. The extension icon will appear with a Green dot to confirm that it has been initialized. i. ii. If you continue to see the red dot after several times. Kindly inform Suren. If you get a proxy Login message. Kindly contact Suren. 6. Last step open a new Tab and you would notice that the tab is now highlighted with a yellow line. This would confirm that StubTab is working with a new proxy for each Tab. Navigate to the the following Link: http://geo.geosurf.io/ a.
