A Pleasant day to you, Mabuhay!
In relation to the Executive Order No. 64, s. 1993 which also strictly adheres by DepEd,
adopting a national policy and program of "Sports for All". We would like to conduct a School
Intramurals with the theme “Burgosians Sports: OUTSTANDING Performance Through the Years”
this coming September 13-15, 2023 for BNHS Sorrento and September 14-15, 2023 for BNHS Main.
The participants of this event are the selected students in different grade level.
The purpose of intramurals is to provide students the opportunity to participate in a variety
of recreational activities after the regular school day, as an extension of the physical education
program. Participation in intramurals will not only provide a chance the students to be active, but
will also give the student ample opportunities to make new friends and demonstrate such qualities
as sportsmanship, cooperation, and leadership in a supervised and structured environment.
The objectives of the Intramural Sports Program are as follows:
To provide opportunities for individual development through various activities.
To provide opportunities for social contact and the development of lasting friendships.
To provide leadership and fellowship opportunities through participation.
To provide recreation for individuals, regardless of their skill ability.
To provide opportunities which develop a positive attitude towards lifetime recreation.
To provide opportunities for personal growth and development through.








The sports events of the Intramurals:
Team sports ( Sepak Takraw, Volleyball & Basketball)
Dual and Individual sports (Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess)
We would also like to seek help for the sports equipment for the following events, these
equipments will also be use for the upcoming District/Municipal Athletic Meet.
