Chess Teacher & Club Chess Tournament Director – New York City, NY & Litchfield, CT (08/2019-Present) I started playing chess at the age of seven in the school chess club at the Hewi School in New York City. By the age of ten, I was playing in ten to twenty tournaments a year in New York City and at all the major na onal events each year. I have won several tournaments in my short career and earned numerous runner-up tles ranging from 2nd-6th place. My highest ranking was 1400 FIDE and was recognized as a top under 12 female players in 2016. As a way to give back to my community and to empower girls to learn chess, I created a chess coaching business to teach children chess. If requested, I provide chess lessons to children throughout the summers in Litch eld. In the summer of 2022, I received my Club Tournament Director License which allowed me to spectate and oversee chess tournaments within a club se ng.
