DIFFERENT TYPES OF JOB INTERVIEW
Interviews can result in any or all of the following: Before scheduling an interview, gather
as much information as possible about the person you will be meeting. Typically, getting a job
requires at least one interview. Businesses frequently invite applicants back many times to ensure
they're a good fit.
1. Traditional face to face interview.
-
Most interviews are face to face. The most traditional is a one-on-one conversation. Maintain eye
contact, listen, and respond once as question has been asked.
2. Panel/Committee Interview
-
In this situation, there is more than one interviewer. Typically, three to ten members of a panel may
conduct this part of selection process. This is your chance to put your group management and group
presentation skills on display.
3. Behavioral Interview
-
According to the primary principle of this type of interview, the best predictor of your future is your
prior experience. Any interview style, telephone panel, or one-on-one interview can pose this type of topic.
This means you must be able to recollect multiple examples quickly, choose the most relevant, and then
articulate them properly for each question.
4. Group Interview
-
The interviewer will pay attention to how you engage with others in a group setting. Strive for the
right balance between being a bystander and drawing attention. Don't just talk, but also demonstrate that you're
willing to listen. This test is often used by people who want to be managers or employees who work with
clients every day.
5. Lunch or dinner Interview.
-
At a dinner, the same regulations apply as in the workplace. Even if the setting is more relaxed, keep
in mind that you're at a business dinner and being closely observed.

deliberate attempt to see how you handle yourself under pressure.
