Goal Principle Truong Thao Anh Liza Molchanova Nguyen Thuy Linh Primacy of purpose Primacy of purpose is rooted in a mindset that you have to provide guidance on where you want to go but not always how to get there. Adopting this mindset will enable your organization to be infinitely more flexible and help them quickly spot new opportunities that are “on strategy” as well as solve crises with faster decision making “rights.” Tree-based framework of goals The “goal tree” is a way of making a plan, where you can set a global goal and subgoals, i.e. tasks that help to achieve it. The need for a consistent, constructive, reasonable and effective solution to the problem of step-by-step interconnection of the organization's states is emphasized by the requirements of the goal tree principle. Principle of adapting goals The need to ensure correlation, linkage, orientation of the components of the organization and goals reveals and represents the principle of targeted adaptation. In accordance with this principle, the purposeful activity of a manager is formed and identified precisely because of the strict priority orientation of all its constituent elements, connections, configurations towards achieving a sequence of intermediate and final goals, i.e. target adaptation. Continuity of goal setting Continuity of goal setting in business - a business continuity plan refers to an organization's system of procedures to restore critical business functions in the event of an unplanned disaster. These disasters could include: • natural disasters • cyberattacks • service outages • other potential threats Strategic planning Strategic planning is a process in which an organization's leaders define their vision for the future and identify their organization's goals and objectives. The process includes establishing the sequence in which those goals should be realized so that the organization can reach its stated vision.
