Republic of the Philippines Department of Education Cordillera Administrative Region YOUTH FORMATION DEVELOPMENT(YFD) ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT In SY 2021-2022 Monamon Elementary School, though the education system faces the challenges of the new normal in education, still strengthen the school organizations which contributed in the development of learners and the school itself. The school organized, maintained and improved the following school organizations: Supreme Student Origination, Youth for Environment in School Organization (YES-O), Boy Scout and Girl Scout Organization, DRRM and we also have the Classroom Organizations per Grade Level. These said organizations helped and benefited from each other. Each organization developed their plans (action plans) in such manner that it will help every organization in the school. The activities and plans of each organization were 98% realized. Though it was not 100% completed we can still boast that in pandemic time our school organizations still do their responsibilities to help the school and the learners and to develop and strengthen their own group structures. Prepared: ICT School Coordinator Noted: Teacher In-Charge Republic of the Philippines Department of Education Cordillera Administrative Region OPLAN Kalusugan sa DepEd SY 2021-2022 Monamon Elementary School supports the objectives or the 6 programs of the OKD in our own way. These programs are namely the following: 1.SBFP and Nutrition Support, where the school supports through strengthening the School’s Feeding Program and Gulayan sa Paaralan. The teachers also see to it tat they will always remind the learners of the importance of eating vegetables and fruits and the bad effects of junk foods. 2. WASH in School, where the schools maintained the regular hand washing of all the learners, teachers and visitors at the “school triage” and the participation in the hand washing month. 3. Medical, Dental, Nursing Services, where the school especially the teachers see to it that their learners do their regular tooth brushing, thus the school allotted a 5 minute break every morning and another 5 minutes in noon time for the learners to brush their teeth. Regular checking of haircuts, nails and ears were also done at the school every 1st week of the month, and the regular monitoring of learners’ height and weight were also done.4. Adolescent Reproductive Health and 5. NDEP and Tobacco Control were also supported by the school and the teachers by inculcating these two in their discussions in Science and Health Subject Areas, where teacher’s states the important ideas/philosophies of these two programs in the easiest way that learners should understand. Then lastly we have the School Mental Health; the school does different activities to stabilized the mental and social wellness of the learners which were affected because of the so called “pandemic”. During the last 2 quarters of the SY 2021-2022 when learners already attended school after pandemic the school conducted games, watching educational yet light movies, fellowships and invited guest to have short concert which helps calms the mindsets of the learners.
