EVIDENCE FOR LEARNING:
This work is about writing an external analysis. Find some issues and background about
the company where you work or worked. Then, make a chart about PEST analysis and
support each of the items described.
III.
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a group of 4 people, they must do the following:
1. Organize your ideas and read all the material in the platform blackboard of the course
2. Write an introductory paragraph of the company you will analyze. The company must
be a company where one of the members of the group worked or work actually.
3. Make the PEST chart (include at least 4 elements for each factor) and group the factors
according to:
☑ Political environment, e.g. tariffs, trade deals, environmental policy etc.
☑ Economic, e.g. interest rates, exchange inflation, unemployment, gross domestic
product, etc.
☑ Social, e.g. demographics, population growth rates, age distribution, job market
trends.
☑ Technology, e.g. with the introduction of new products, new technologies and
services.
4. Each element of the factors must be explaining in paragraphs outside of the chart.
Make sure you justified them with the proper bibliography and APA.
5. Bibliography must include APA.
6. How to send your work:

Only one participant of the group must submit their work and must do so in the following
way:
⮚ Your work must be sent as a document Ms. Word (.doc).
⮚ Include this information:
T2_(subject)_GroupN°
Example: T2_English for business_Group1.
4. It must be considered: vocabulary (spelling), grammar (structures), organization and
coherence.
Remember: If a student copies information from another work, his/her final score must be zero
(0).
