Some people believe that governments should only support their local citizens instead of helping
residents in other countries. While it is true that the government need to focus on their own people, I
believe it is also possible to provide support for others around the world.
To begin with, there are some reasons why government should help people in their own
nations.Firstly, it improves people’s standard of life in their countries because there are more money
from the government that could be used to help people. For example, the government would spend
money investing in constructing houses for homeless people or give more scholarships to encourage
children to go to school. This leads to a happy and comfortable life for many people. Additionally,
since everyone could experience a better education, there would be a significant decrease in crime
rate, which leads to a safe country for people. If inhabitants are not well-educated, they are not likely
to know how to read or write and there are high chances that individuals would commit crimes.
However, I would argue that we can also support individuals coming from other parts of the world.
