REFLECTION PAPER FOR THE MONTH OF MAY The school lunch policy was not implemented immediately during the first month of the supposed implementation of this resolution. In fact, there are several factors that hindered us from implementing it, such as a lack of funds and a lack of cooperation, especially since most of the Acacia students are already not going to school for consecutive days after the Semi-Final Examination. Most of the students were also ignorant that this resolution existed. However, I was able to see some improvements after the open forum that we had among those students who usually go outside the school during lunch. They were already somehow responsible for their actions, especially if what they are doing is already abusing school policy and is already considered disrespectful to our class adviser. Little by little, I can also see that some of my classmates share their lunches with those who don't have lunch. This act of kindness not only fosters a sense of unity among us, but also addresses the issue of students going hungry during lunchtime. It's heartwarming to witness the empathy and compassion that has been displayed by my classmates. It goes to show that even in a seemingly competitive environment like school, there is still room for kindness and understanding. These small acts of generosity create a positive atmosphere within our class, where everyone feels valued and supported. Furthermore, it encourages others to follow suit and extend a helping hand to those in need. Witnessing such selflessness reminds me of the importance of empathy and how it can make a significant difference in someone's life. It also serves as a reminder that we are not just individuals striving for personal success, but a community that thrives when we uplift one another. As we continue to navigate through our academic journey, I hope this spirit of compassion remains ingrained in our class, reminding us that we have the power to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all. as grown within our class. Additionally, our class adviser has taken notice of these positive changes and commended us for our efforts. This newfound awareness and consideration for others' well-being have transformed our lunchtime experience into a more inclusive and supportive environment. As a result, we have become more mindful of the impact our actions can have on those around us. By sharing our meals, we are not only nourishing each other's bodies but also nourishing a sense of community within our classroom. This small act of generosity has sparked a ripple effect, inspiring others to follow suit and contribute to creating a more harmonious school environment overall. REFLECTION PAPER FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE Our resolution was not well implemented during this month due to a lack of information dissemination and cooperation. Most of the Grade 11 Acacia students were also bombarded by many schoolworks and assignments during this month, which made it more difficult to sustain the everyday fund for the Acacia Pantry. However, as the class president, I thought of a plan on how to generate more resources for the pantry. I grouped the class into three, and each group was assigned to bring either noodles, coffee, or biscuits to contribute to the pantry. Most importantly, I am proud to say that we have had a "Budol fight" every Friday since the resolution was implemented. It is not just for us to create memories, but also for us to enjoy our lunch time in an extraordinary way. Some of my classmates would also bring "silot," while others brought "duma." ...etc and all of these foods will be shared to all of us. This way, we could ensure a variety of food items for those in need. As a result, the number of students going out during lunchtime was significantly reduced, allowing for a more efficient and productive school day. Moreover, this initiative brought our class closer together as we all worked towards a common goal - ensuring that no one in our class went hungry. We took pride in knowing that our efforts were making a difference in the lives of our classmates and fostering a sense of unity within our school community.
