NARRATIVE / ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
[School-Based National Learning Camp 2023]
July 27 & 28, 2023 (Thursday & Friday)
[Enrichment Camp – Instructional Activity]
Pursuant to DepEd Order (DO) No. 14, s.2023 or the Policy Guidelines on the Implementation of
the National Learning Camp [NLC], a voluntary three- to five-week learning recovery program
designed to benefit K to 12 learners in public elementary and secondary schools. DepEd hopes the
NLC will address “learning losses” or “learning gaps” arising from the Covid-19 pandemic,
among others, in attaining learning standards. NLC is an “important initiative” in learning
recovery.

with the involvement of volunteered
teachers to take part of the learning
recovery program of DepEd reaching out
those school kids and ensure their
involvement and participation in the
School-Based Learning (Summer) Camp
from July 24 to August 25, 2023. In
support to the MATATAG Basic
Education Agenda and as a sub-program
under the National Learning Recovery
Program (NLRP) aimed at addressing
learning loss, the Department of
Education (DepEd) is set to roll out the
National Learning Camp (NLC) during the 2022-2023 End-of-School Year (EOSY) break.
Last July 26, 2023 (Wednesday), the school-based learning camp 2023 was officially implemented
and carried out. It started with an opening program led by the School Learning Camp Coordinator,
Kim L. Galendez, and the school head, Dinah Zoraida B. Zamora, together with volunteered
teachers from Grade 7 to 12 including myself, Tristan R. Babaylan, a SHS Teacher II.
Likewise, Senior High School (SHS) students were registered in the Enrichment Camp with
classes specified in the School-Based Learning Camp 2023 Matrix & Schedules for the week and
weeks to come [see attached photos and/or documents]. Furthermore, the following
subjects/activities were offered by the SHS Department namely: (1) Research/3I’s; (2) Work
Immersion with Ethics; (3) Major Subjects of ABM, HUMSS, TVL-Cookery, TVL-CSS, TVLDM, and TVL-EIM; and lastly but not the least (4) PEH – Sports Clinic.

An actual classroom instruction started last July 27, 2023 (Thursday) and it was followed July 28,
2023 (Friday). Moreover, attendance of every learner was also checked for the week and during
their scheduled classes.
