Meeting was called to order at exactly 10:00 AM. Mrs. Lubel A. Banaria, the Principal, called the meeting to order. Then, followed by the opening prayer led by Mrs. Tobias. 2. Mrs. Lubel A. Banaria, gave some insights on the purpose of the meeting and the present needs of school which needed assistance. 3. To ensure that the school is still on its core, an election of officers was conducted among the board of directors. Whereas, the following officers were elected after series of nomination and motion to close: President: Mrs. Maria Luz Quimbo Vice Pres: Mrs. Rosemarie Tobias Secretary: Ms. Mae Ann Jean Justol Treasurer: Mrs. Rudith Retutas Auditor: Mrs. Corazon Juanga Bus. Manager: Mrs. Irene Balucan Mrs. Amelie Delfin 4. Mrs. Lubel Banaria, discussed to the board the roles and function of the Officers CHAIRPERSON/ PRESIDENT • Act as the presiding officer of the council • Presents any report for which the chairman is responsible • Prepares agenda for meetings in consultation with the principal • Makes herself/himself available to the wider school community for consultation and information sharing • Works with the principal regarding directions of the School Governing Council VICE – CHAIRPERSON/ V- PRES • Be prepared at all meetings and acts as proxy at any function as required in the absence of the Chair • Be aware of the duties of the chair in the event of that person’s absence • Provides positive, candid input to the chair, on occasion when such advice is seen as necessary or appropriate • Assists in publishing the work of the Council. SECRETARY • Assists with the writing of reports and correspondence when necessary • Files paper works into governing council files • Assists in the preparation and circulation of Council agenda • Records and documents accurately minutes of all council meetings • Provides all council members legible copies of the minutes of at least 7 days prior to the next meeting • Takes the attendance and apologies of the Council during the meeting. TREASURER • Takes charge of the fund receipts and disbursements of the SGC • Keeps the money and the valuable of the SGC on a book that the Council designates • Keeps and have charge of books of accounts • Prepares an audited report of all SGC funds and disbursements and meetings AUDITOR • Assists the treasurer in the processing of all financial transactions and records • Audit funds, receipts and disbursements for submission to the council • Assists the treasurer in keeping a clear record book of accounts PRINCIPAL (Executive Officer) • Plans meeting, time and format • Arranges for information to be communicated to all Council members before and after meetings • Prepare Council Meeting agenda in coordination with the Chairman and Secretary • Provides the council accurate and clear information necessary for decision-making • Arranges report to be available to all council members • Keeps the Council up-to-date with new initiatives that are occurring. 5. Mrs. Retutas presented the PTA project for SY 2018-2019. She also reported the money incurred 6. Ma’am Lubel A. Banaria, School Principal the Final Enhanced School Improvement Plan SY 20192020 and the MOOE utilization from January 2019 up to present. Transparency Board was posted near the school gate to update parents of the utilization of MOOE, PTA Fund, Canteen Fund, Donations Received and fun raising in terms of its finances. • Ma’am reiterated the school rules and regulations. • She also emphasized the proper attire in entering the school campus. • On Friday, pupils shall wear their P.E. uniform of BSP/GSP uniform. • Reminded the parents of the transferees to follow up the Form 137 of their children from their previous school and those parents whose children have not yet submitted their NSO Birth Certificate. 7. Ma’am Lubel also shared the accomplished project last SY 8. Mrs. Maria Luz Quimbo, the newly elected president took time to present the project proposal of the board of directors for SY. 2019-2020. Agreed upon their discussion that they the PTA will donate the following as their project for SY 2019-2020. a. Flag Pole b. Television per classroom Fund Raising events had been brought up as a way to solicit funds for the said projects. The SGC Board Meeting was called to order at exactly 9:00 AM by Mrs. Floriza Patagoc, SGC adviser. The meeting was opened through an opening prayer. 2. Mrs. Patagoc reminded the board on matters about School Improvement that would cater the needs of the school and the learners in general. 3. As part of the School improvement, the board of directors and the school must see to it that school goals should stick to its core, thus an election of officers was held to ensure that PTA is properly guided. Bañaria, School Principal, guided the Board of Directors and appreciated their efforts on implementing projects for the school. 2. Mrs. Lubel Banaria, presented the Midyear Project Monitoring to the board as per result of the accomplished project of the Annual Improvement Plan for CY 2019. 3. Mrs. Lubel Banaria informed parents of the enrolment profile for School year 2019-2020 to be covered by the funding of the school project for the school year. 4. The chairman, Ms. Quimbo, chaired the open forum by presenting the school project for SY 2019-2020 which were the flag pole and television per classroom. 5. Source of Funding: The body agreed that the funds will come from the donations of parents for School Year 2019-2020 which will be collected by the PTA treasurer. The expected deadline is on September 15, 2019.
