Release of Personal Data Personal Data is defined as any information (including student performance data) relating to an identified or identifiable person. I understand and give my consent to the IB to collect, use, process and transfer my Personal Data to third parties, including but not limited to Institutes of Higher Education such as admissions offices, universities, colleges and ministries of education, in ways relevant to carrying out its legitimate purposes and functions, as well as for university entrance of IB candidates, statistical analysis of examination results and research on IB candidates’ success in colleges and universities. Please note that, in the context of the above, Personal Data may be transferred to individuals resident in, or servers located in countries, including the United States, which the EU deems to offer an inadequate level of protection, though the IB shall make its best effort to ensure an appropriate level of protection for data in their respective possession. In the event that a student or their parent/legal guardian, where a student is not of the age of legal consent in their country of residence, does not wish for their Personal Data to be transferred to third parties, please contact the IB at data@ibo.org.
