MERCHANT OF VENICE BOARD GAME
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The board game is about the 3 men that wanted to marry Portia. The
game ask questions on what caskets did the 3 men choose from, what
did the casket have inside and what happened after they opened the
casket. In order to win the game you have to answer all the questions
correctly to win.
GAMES OBJECTIVE
the gamea objective is to be the first person to reach the end
space of the board game to win Portia. You need to move your
pieces. The pieces are named PRINCE OF ARAGON, PRINCE OF
MOROCCO and BASSANIO.
THE GAME
The game has 3 pieces which are played by starting to roll a die.
The first piece that reaches Portia wins the game. You need to
answer the questions correctly to move your piece, if you
answer incorrect you pass the die to the next player to roll the
die and answer the question correctly to move their piece.
SET-UP
Player rolls a die and moves the piece corresponding to the
score a player gets on a dice. You move the pieces along the
spaces of the board. The highest player of a die starts the game.
Player follows the sequence of the numbers towards the end.
RULES
When a player lands piece at the bottom of the leader, the
player gets to move the piece to the top of the leader.
When a play lands a piece at the top of a snake, the player gets
to move the piece to the bottom of the snake.
If you land a piece at the top of the leader nothing happens and
if you land a piece at the bottom of a snake nothing happens.
NOTE
The game is played by 2 to 3 players and no cheating is allowed
