Anderson initially complied with the police officers' command to sit down, but subsequently he attempted to flee on a road, which resulted in the officers pinning him to the ground and shocking him for approximately 30 seconds, followed by another 5 seconds. https://abc7chicago.com/keenan-anderson-death-after-lapd-taser-incident-the-completetimel/12710549/ Journal Entry #2 “FAA system outage” January 11, 2023 On January 10, 2023, around 3:28 p.m., the NOTAM system stopped processing updates, and the FAA issued the first Air Traffic Control System Command Center Advisory regarding this event at 7:47 p.m. on the same day. After its pilot-alerting Notice to Air Missions (NOTAM) system went offline overnight, causing severe disruption, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) ordered airlines to suspend all domestic departures at approximately 7:30 a.m. on January 11. This order caused widespread chaos. After the FAA discontinued the NOTAM outage advisory, planes began to resume departures at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time (ET), and departures at other airports were expected to resume by 9 a.m. However, the airlines may choose to conduct ground delay initiatives, which would cause additional timetable problems. https://www.cnbc.com/2023/01/11/faa-orders-airlines-to-pause-departures-until-9-am-etafter-system-outage.html Journal Entry #3 “Louisville, New York bus crash” January 28, 2023 On the early hours of the 28th of January, 2023, an express bus and a box truck were involved in a collision on New York State Route 37 close to Louisville. The initial acquisition of the records occurred when Pence was serving in the Trump administration. Greg Jacobs claimed that after hearing recently about a sensitive papers’ incident involving President Joe Biden, he had actively looked for the documents. The Federal Bureau of Investigation quickly gathered and removed the found documents. According to Jacobs, Pence hired outside counsels with knowledge of handling secret documents on January 16 to review four boxes of documents at his Carmel, Indiana, home. In response to the Joe Biden classified materials incident in early January, Pence had searched for records "out of an excess of caution." Jacobs notified the National Archives and Records Administration of the finding of the secret records at Pence's Indiana home on January 18. He asserted that the papers were "accidentally packaged and transported" to Pence's residence at the close of Trump's administration. Some of the records were taken by agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Indianapolis field office on January 19 aro, with Pence's approval. On January 20, in addition to the records the FBI had gathered, Jacobs offered the Archives four boxes of additional documents. The Archives stated that they are unable to retrieve the boxes, therefore they chose to permit Pence's agents to deliver them to Washington, DC. On January 23, Jacobs presented the papers personally. According to the attorney, the FBI wanted "direct possession" of the records rather than following "normal protocols. https://www.cnn.com/2023/01/24/politics/pence-classified-documents-fbi/index.html Journal Entry #5 “ Ice storm” January 31, 2023 An ice storm made landfall in the Southern United States, bringing with it a significant amount of snow and ice to the region. The winter storm, which has been informally dubbed Winter Storm Mara by The Weather Channel, has been linked to the deaths of at least ten people so far. An Arctic cold passage made its way south into the Southern United States, where it met with warm and moist air from the Gulf of Mexico, which resulted in the creation of the ice storm. This is what caused the winter storm to begin. On January 31, an inch of sleet fell in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area, with lightning accompanying some of the storm's more intense bursts. On the same day, freezing rain fell in Arkansas, which affected regions such as Fayetteville and Fort Smith, as well as in Missouri, which influenced cities such as Joplin and Springfield. On the 31st of January, freezing rain and sleet were observed as far south as Austin and San Antonio. https://www.wunderground.com/article/storms/winter/news/2023-01-30-winter-stormmara-ice-snow-south-texas-ohio-valley
