Forced Perspective
- Stereoscopic Vision 1:32
- Keep them over 30 ft away for the trick to work
- Main Street USA Disneyland California (forced perspective used to make the buildings
appear taller) 5:50 (basically each floor gets smaller so it looks taller)
- EPCOT america pavilion, made to look smaller, but the perspective is broken bc of
people standing next to it, the building is 5 stories tall 6:40
- Tower of Terror, elevator scene, walls and floors slanted, makes it seem 70ft long when it
is only 6 feet deep
- Aerial perspective, using light to dark colors to create depth 9:10
- 10:50 mt everest, trees hide it so it looks farther, darker colors at base, blues in white to
contrast sky
- Cars Land, rocks 11;34
- 12:10 uses plants to show distance. Uses lots of plants at the bottom, but uses mosses
to show distance by making it seem more clustered in the distance
- Castles - upper portion is thinner and set back so it seems higher
- 15:00 beasts castle, supposed to be the same size as cinderellas castle using forced
perspective but the trick doesn’t really work. The colors are too vibrant and the shadows
are too dark. If a bird or person stands next to it the trick is so easily broken
