Your apprenticeship with Infineum France: You will join a team of 7 Process Engineers who provides technical expertise to manufacturing units, to support continuous improvement initiatives in terms of HSE, product quality, reliability, sustainability. The team is based within the Berre plant (South of France, between Aix-en-Provence and Marseille), in the manufacturing organization. You will have the opportunity to gain a deep knowledge of a complex chemical plant with outstanding HSSE standards. It is therefore an ideal opportunity for growth for a young Engineer and possible future employment. Your Responsibilities: * You will progressively take leadership to develop sustainability projects or projects that foster continuous improvements, * With the support of the team, you will work on troubleshooting activities on the different units. * You will have to determine needs to work on individual projects/problems and participate in setting own priorities for working these problems. * You will have to ensure compliance with internal HSE framework. * In this role you will interface with Manufacturing technology, unit supervisor and shift operators, reliability engineer, project engineers, plant lab, plant maintenance, logistics, pilot group and other plants all over the world. Skills and capabilities You are ideally a Chemical Engineer (Master’s degree in chemical engineering or equivalent), with a good technical background In a short time you are expected to become fully independent in your role, which requires close collaboration with site colleagues and abroad, and proactivity. Therefore, you must be perfectly fluent in French and demonstrate high skills in English.
