Course Description :
This course is designed to equip the individual the
desirable attitudes and skills of the land transport light vehicle driver in
accordance with industry standards, including the regulatory requirements
issued by appropriate regulatory bodies, government and/or private. It covers
the following four core competencies. Carry out vehicle maintenance and
servicing, Drive light vehicles, Obey and Observe traffic rules and regulations
and Implement and coordinate accident/emergency procedures.
This course is also designed to equip the individual the basic and common
knowledge, skills and attitudes of the land transport light vehicle driver in
accordance with industry standards.
Trainee Entry
Requirements:
Candidate/trainee must posses the following qualification

Can communicate both oral and written

At least 18 years of age

Holder of professional driver’s license

Physically and mentally fit

With good moral character

TRAINERS QUALIFICATION
• Holder of National TVET Trainer Certificate Level I (NTTC Level I) in Heavy
Equipment Operation (Hydraulic Excavator) NC II
• Must have completed the 40-Hour Construction Safety Training Course
(COSH) per Department Order No. 13 s. 1998, Guidelines Governing
Occupational Safety and Health in the Construction Industry conducted by
OSHC and DOLE accredited Safety Training Organizations
• Must be computer literate
• Must have at least 4 years work/industry experience
 Adhere to the guidelines on health standards issued by the national
government such as wearing of wearing of facemask, checking of body
temperature, provision of sanitation supplies and facilities and other health
and safety standards and follow MGCQ protocol.
