Title : Royal Dodge Royale: Protect the Queen!
Objectives:
1. Royal Protection: Safeguard your team's queen from the opposing team's relentless attacks.
Ensure her safety and prevent her from getting hit by dodgeballs throughout the game.
2. Queen's Revenge: Strategically target and eliminate the enemy queen by landing accurate
throws and hitting her with dodgeballs. Removing the opposing queen from the game
increases your team's chances of victory.
3. Protector Persistence: Defend your team's protectors, who shield the queen from incoming
dodgeballs. Ensure their survival and support their efforts in protecting the queen.
4. Royal Alliances: Collaborate with your teammates to coordinate attacks on the enemy
protectors and queen. Work together to create strategic alliances, using teamwork to
outsmart and overpower the opposing team.
5. Ultimate Triumph: Secure the ultimate triumph by successfully protecting your queen
while eliminating all enemy protectors and the enemy queen. Be the last team standing to
claim victory in the Royal Dodge Royale.
Procedures:
Rules:
1. Dynamic Roles: Each team consists of a queen, protectors, and attackers. The roles can
dynamically change during the game, allowing players to switch between roles based on
their team's strategy and gameplay needs.
2. Enchanted Dodgeballs: Use specially crafted dodgeballs imbued with unique properties.
These magical dodgeballs can have different effects upon hitting opponents, such as
temporarily stunning them, slowing them down, or even teleporting them to another
location.
3. Power Zones: Designate power zones within the playing area where players can gain
temporary enhancements. These zones might grant increased agility, improved throwing
accuracy, or even the ability to conjure additional dodgeballs.
4. Special Abilities: Each player possesses a distinct special ability that can be activated
during the game. These abilities can range from creating protective barriers to unleashing
elemental attacks, adding a magical and fantastical element to the gameplay.
5. Time Manipulation: Introduce a time manipulation mechanic where players can briefly
alter the flow of time. This allows them to slow down opponents, dodge incoming throws
with ease, or even rewind time to negate a hit.
Mechanics:
1. Elemental Dodgeballs: Include dodgeballs infused with elemental powers, such as fire, ice,
or lightning. Each element has unique properties, such as causing burn damage, freezing
opponents momentarily, or shocking them upon impact.
2. Queen's Resurgence: If the queen gets hit, she doesn't get eliminated immediately. Instead,
she enters a "resurgence" mode, where she can regain health or activate a temporary shield
to continue playing. This adds an element of resilience to the queen's character.
3. Obstacle Course: Design the playing area with imaginative obstacles and challenges.
Incorporate platforms, moving structures, or even portals to enhance the excitement and
strategic gameplay.
4. Quest-based Challenges: Introduce quest-based challenges throughout the game, such as
retrieving ancient artifacts or solving puzzles. Completing these challenges grants players
additional advantages, such as extra dodgeballs or temporary invincibility.
5. Spectator Interactions: Engage spectators by allowing them to influence the game.
Incorporate interactive elements like cheer cards or virtual power-ups that spectators can
activate to aid their favorite team or hinder the opposing team.
Game Materials:
1. Mystical Tokens: Use mystical tokens or charms to signify players' special abilities. These
tokens can be collected or activated during the game, providing players with enhanced
powers or abilities for a limited time.
2. Dodgeballs: Soft and lightweight balls suitable for indoor or outdoor play. You'll need
enough dodgeballs for both teams to use during the game.
3. Boundary Markers: Use cones, tape, or chalk to mark the boundaries of the playing area.
Clearly define the limits to ensure fair gameplay.
4. Team Identification Items: Assign colored wristbands, armbands, or headbands to
differentiate between the teams. This helps players and spectators easily identify each
team's members.
5. Respawn Area Markers: Designate a specific area where players go when they are out of
the game. Use markers or mats to clearly indicate the respawn area.
6. Scoreboard: Create a simple scoreboard or scoring system to keep track of team scores or
the number of eliminations. This can be as simple as a whiteboard or poster with erasable
markers.
7. Timekeeper: Use a stopwatch, timer, or smartphone app to keep track of the game's
duration. This ensures that each round or match has a specified time limit.
8. Cones or Markers for Power Zones: Designate certain areas as power zones where players
can activate special abilities or gain temporary advantages. Use cones or markers to
indicate these zones.
