Draw a full line in the top right –hand corner of your page
Draw a dotted line in the top left-hand corner …
A house in the middle of the page
A circle on the left of the house
A triangle on the right of the house
A full wave in the bottom left hand corner
A dotted wave under it
A rectangle in the bottom right hand corner
Everyone good so far?
1. If your surname begins with a vowel write it on the full line in the top right hand corner.
2. If your family name begins with an consonant write it on the dotted line in the top left hand
corner.
3. If your first name begins with a vowel, write it under the full line.
4. If your first name begins with a consonant, write it above the dotted line.
5. In the house in the middle of the page write the names of the people living with you:
1st your mother
2nd your father
Then list your brothers and sisters, followed by grandparents and/or cousins
If no others live with you, then draw an ‘X’!
6. Under the house write the names and types of pets you have
7. If no pets, then write an ‘X’!
8. In the rectangle write your fear(s) - I’m afraid of the dark
9. In the circle write the last English movie you saw
10. In the triangle write the name(s) of your best friend(s) and/or you girlfriend or boyfriend
11. Above the full wave, write your favorite singer/actor
12. Under the dotted wave, write something or someone you dream of
13. Between the 2 waves write your least favourite food!

Trade papers with the person sitting next to you, and introduce him or her to the class.
