House Rules Within the premises Observe QUIET TIME starting at 10:00 PM. This is quiet time for all who must keep noise to a minimum. Cleanliness Please maintain a clean environment inside and outside your rooms. Practice CLAYGO or clean as you go. Your fellow boarders are not your personal house cleaners. Use your own belongings only. Place your things on the right place. Please throw your garbage in the proper garbage bin. Practice segregating your trash. Water and Electricity Make sure to turn the faucets off after use. Switch the lights off when not in use. Unplug any appliances/chargers when not in use. Unplug chargers before you sleep, avoid overnight charging that may cause overheating and may lead to Fire. Kitchen Kitchen utensils are for general use thus you are required to WASH it after use. Please keep all unused food properly sealed so you don’t encourage pests such as mice and ants the house. Laundry Observe laundry time; allot maximum of 2 hours to give way also for other housemates in using the comfort room. Avoid soaking of clothes for more than 3 days. Door Locks and Keys Doors and all windows MUST be kept always locked when nobody is home. Properly Lock the Door when you leave. Toilet and Bathroom Use your own Comfort Room in your room, and be mindful of the time in using it (maximum of 25 minutes in bathing) Please clean up after use. Remove fallen hair from blocking the drains on the sink or on the bathroom floor. Make sure that the faucet is properly switched off and that the water is not dripping. Please notify management immediately when there is a leak in the faucet. Do not throw anything (including tampons, pads or other sanitary items) down the toilet. Switch off the lights when not in use. Switch the lights and other electrical appliances off when not in use. Practice common courtesy and respect of individual space. To avoid theft or loss of personal belongings, please make sure that they are placed inside your safety place. Boarding house management reserves the right to inspect the rooms. Raising Issues and Concerns Please do not hesitate to contact or inform the management regarding issues in the boarding house.
