Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
Firstly, I would like to expand my knowledge and experience of nutrition by completing my
undergraduate bachelor’s degree at Nova Southeastern University by Winter of 2026. Then,
obtaining my degree to apply to accredited master’s program with a Didactic Program in
Dietetics (DPD). As 5 years from now, it will be January 27th, 2028, and by this time I will be
admitted into a graduate program that integrates coursework and a supervised practice. Overall,
with my end goal of becoming an RDN by 2030 or 2031.
Lastly, with obtaining my master’s degree in nutrition, completing a DPD program, and
collecting all my internships hours to sit for the Registered Dietitian Exam. Depending on how
long the master’s programs are, to which ever university I apply to, will determine my
completion of the graduate level. As a result, becoming a registered dietitian my occur between
2020-2031 because of the preparation to take the exam and completing various education
courses. I will get there because of my hard work, dedication, and an immense amount of
knowledge gathered over these 6-7 years in school. Then, after sitting and passing my exam
beyond 5 years, I would love to work at the functional level of nutrition or work alongside the
gastrointestinal floor in a clinical hospital. This will be possible because I want to pursue extra
credentials or specialties in this field. In the end, I am curious to see what my future and end
goals turn out to be!
