Hello guys, this is *Brilliana Reign rain go away,* but I hope you will not go away because I will be discussing a lot about our course subject today! So what is the subject that I am talking about in this podcast? This subject is called RRES or Religions, Religious Experiences and Spirituality. In this subject, we discuss different religions, faiths, and their practices. So it's interesting to have this subject right? Like we get to know how these religions keep up their faith and like what are the things that they do to strengthen their faith and belief system. So if you ask me now, how will I define religion? Religion can be defined in many ways. One definition that we all know is that religion is a group of cultural frameworks, worldviews, and philosophical systems. However, for me, religion also connects mankind to spirituality AND TO moral principles. This is because religion gives purpose to our existence. No matter what your religion is you will still have your own belief system/ and you will have your own religious practices/ but we all have the same goal which is to be a better version of ourselves for the sake of salvation. // I know some of you agree with that statement, but some will still say, "Oh that is if you are being conventional about your faith."/// So really, we can't deny that we considered asking and wondered what does the future hold for religion. One thing’s for sure religion will still hold us accountable for our doings and be responsible to stay as /// a moral person///. In my opinion, that will not change even after a long time, since it has long been a tradition. /// What I mean by that is religious practices were only passed on from generation to generation. /// However, it managed to be /somehow/ an enhanced tradition /// in a way that it is continuously improving throughout time. A good example of this is the highlight of the document Nostra Aetate, where it states that the Church has not closed its doors for improvements but rather it will become more understanding of how Christian and non-christian religions strengthen their relationship. /// Overall, respect was the foundation of everything; if we respect one another's beliefs, we may all become one human race. /// Isn’t that what we’ve been asking for? For the world to heal? /// Nevertheless, even though every religion's viewpoint continues to advance, we all know that our society is changing quickly, and I can see that some individuals are progressively abandoning their religious beliefs due to modern issues. With this, I can argue that the growing number of religious influencers has helped in restoring the /// faith /// in us. They make every effort to connect with as many people as possible in an effort to persuade us to rediscover our religiosity. These influencers also distribute their religious content on various social media platforms, mainly instagram, facebook and youtube. So they can undoubtedly reach a large audience, particularly in this day and age when everyone uses social media. Speaking of social media, it can also be a great way to have a dialogue with a lot of topics, /// especially religion! /// We can learn so much about each other’s religion by having an open discussion about it online, but of course, this can also happen in person. However, we must teach ourselves that discussing religion with someone who does not share your beliefs requires a /// great deal of respect ///. When having this type of discussion, we need to be /// sensitive and open-minded /// Let's respect each other's religions' unique practices. We can actually learn a lot about their distinctive customs. By doing this, we can help get rid of the stereotypes that have been associated with every religion and support one another's faith. With this, no one can be /// discriminated /// against for their chosen belief and be free to be whoever they want to be. You know, guys, I appreciate the chance to discuss religion with you. /// But! /// before I say my farewell, let me just say that we should never forget to appreciate one another, regardless of how different our religions may be. /// Hope you learned something new about our podcast today. This has been Brilliana Reign on this *rainy night.* See you in the next episode! Bye! ///
